India's Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan Faces Resignation Calls Over Paper Leaks

Youth Congress National President Uday Bhanu Chib announced a demand for the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, alleging the minister heads a "paper leak mafia" that compromises examinations across India. The claim was made during the "Chhatron Ka Goonj" (Echo of Students) campaign in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, where Chib said the leaks are conducted under the supervision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the ruling BJP.

Chib also called for a complete overhaul of the examination system, arguing that the current situation fuels student suicides, creates mental pressure, and forces families to spend large sums on coaching that becomes wasteful when papers are leaked. He accused the BJP of prioritising money over youth welfare and vowed that the Youth Congress will continue its struggle until a transparent system is established.
