India's July 2026 Auto Market to See Launch of Five New SUVs Including Tata Sierra EV and Nissan Tekton

India’s automobile market is set for a busy July 2026, with five new SUV models slated for launch. Nissan will introduce the Tekton midsize SUV, priced between ₹11 lakh and ₹25 lakh, featuring advanced design and engine options. Honda plans to bring the premium ZR‑V SUV, priced at ₹40 lakh‑₹50 lakh, with high‑tech features. Tata will launch the electric Sierra EV, expected to cost ₹20 lakh‑₹25 lakh and equipped with 65‑75 kWh battery packs. MG will add the MG4 EV, priced at ₹27 lakh‑₹32 lakh, targeting long‑range electric buyers, while Maruti Suzuki will refresh its Brezza compact SUV, priced between ₹8.5 lakh and ₹14 lakh.

Earlier in June, four additional SUVs were announced for the Indian market. Skoda’s Kodiaq RS will debut with a 2.0‑litre turbo‑petrol engine delivering 265 hp. Tata’s Sierra EV prototype was revealed with its battery specifications. Honda’s ZR‑V will arrive as a limited‑run CBU model featuring a 2.0‑litre hybrid powertrain (184 hp). Nissan’s Tekton, based on the Renault Duster platform, will offer 1.0‑litre and 1.3‑litre turbo‑petrol options, with a future hybrid variant possible. The announcements highlight a shift toward hybrid and electric powertrains alongside traditional petrol models.
