India's June 2026 Vehicle Sales Surge Across Scooters, Motorcycles and Toyota Models

India’s two‑wheel market posted robust growth in June 2026. Total scooter sales reached 6,36,315 units, a 38 % year‑on‑year increase. Honda Activa remained the top‑selling scooter with 2,18,932 units, while electric models saw the sharpest gains: TVS iQube jumped 232 % YoY to 47,331 units and Bajaj Chetak rose 126 % to 40,376 units.

Motorcycle sales climbed to 9,35,519 units, up 9 % YoY. Hero Splendor retained its lead with 3,53,024 units (7 % growth), and Honda Shine posted a strong 22 % rise to 2,34,089 units. TVS Apache and Raider each posted over 30 % growth, while Hero HF Deluxe volumes fell 56 %.

Toyota India sold 28,441 units in June, a 7.5 % YoY rise. The Urban Cruiser Hyryder was the best‑selling model with 9,104 units, up 22 % YoY. The newly launched Glanza grew 19.5 % YoY, and the MPV Rumion surged 67.9 % YoY to 2,376 units. Overall, the April‑June quarter saw Toyota’s sales rise 10.7 % YoY to 89,186 units.
