India's May 2026 Two-Wheeler Sales Show Growth for Suzuki and Hero MotoCorp

Suzuki Motorcycle India reported dispatching 98,004 two-wheelers in May 2026, a modest 3% year‑on‑year increase but a 7% drop from the previous month. The scooter line‑up drove the results, with the Suzuki Access accounting for 70,339 units – about 71% of total sales – and the electric e‑Access posting 702 units, up 466% month‑on‑month.

Hero MotoCorp sold 5.36 lakh units in the same month, delivering a double‑digit 10% year‑on‑year growth and slightly outpacing the prior month’s 5.32 lakh units. The Splendor remained the top‑selling model with 333,727 units, while the Glamour 125 surged 2,436% YoY to 23,103 units. Hero’s electric Vida scooters grew 141% YoY to 20,130 units, and the Xoom model jumped 625% YoY to 7,459 units. Other notable gains included the Harley‑Davidson X440, up 126% YoY.
