India's Mumbai and Delhi Face Heavy Rain and High Tide on July 21

On July 21, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation warned that Mumbai will see a high tide of 3.64 metres at 16:53, with clouds, moderate to heavy rain and gusty winds of 50‑60 km/h. The India Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert for the region.

In Delhi, the India Meteorological Department reported moderate rainfall that lowered temperatures by 3‑5 °C below normal, with stations recording up to 18 mm of rain. The Central Pollution Control Board said the Air Quality Index was 69, classified as “satisfactory.” Forecasts call for further rain and surface winds up to 40 km/h over the next few days.
