India's NTA issues CUET results and postpones UGC NET exam

The National Testing Agency (NTA) announced that the first shift of the UGC NET 2026 exam at the CT Group of Institutions centre in Jalandhar, Punjab, was cancelled on June 22 due to a technical glitch reported by Tata Consultancy Services. A make‑up session will be held on July 5 at the same centre, and new admit cards will be issued for affected candidates.

On June 23, NTA released the CUET UG 2026 results on the official portal cuet.nta.nic.in, allowing millions of students to download their scorecards. The result includes subject‑wise marks, percentiles and other details, enabling universities to proceed with counseling and admissions.

Earlier, on June 9, NTA also published the final answer key for CUET‑UG 2026 after a two‑week objection period to the provisional key. The key is available on the same website and will be used to finalize the upcoming result announcements.
