NEET UG 2026 Re-exam Answer Key Released, Objection Window Open

The National Testing Agency (NTA) released the provisional answer key for the NEET UG 2026 re‑examination on 25 June, making it downloadable from the official neet.nta.nic.in portal along with the OMR response sheets. Candidates have until 28 June 2026, 11:50 pm, to lodge objections; each challenged question incurs a non‑refundable fee of ₹200, which is refunded if the objection is accepted.

More than 20 lakh aspirants sat the re‑exam at 5,440 centres across India and 14 centres abroad. NTA highlighted the involvement of around seven lakh officials, police teams and staff, including special arrangements for over 10,000 candidates with disabilities. In Uttarakhand, authorities deployed heavy police presence at 16 centres in Dehradun for about 6,000 candidates to ensure a secure and orderly conduct. A separate fee‑refund window closes on 30 June for candidates to update bank details. Results are expected in early July.
