India's petrol, diesel and CNG prices unchanged on June 12, 2026

On June 12, 2026, India's retail prices for petrol, diesel and CNG remained unchanged across major cities, following a series of hikes in late May that raised petrol by about Rs 7.5 per litre and diesel by a similar amount.

Listed rates include petrol at Rs 102.12 per litre in New Delhi, Rs 111.18 in Mumbai and Rs 115.69 in Hyderabad; diesel at Rs 95.20 per litre in New Delhi, Rs 97.83 in Mumbai and Rs 103.82 in Hyderabad. CNG prices in metros range from Rs 86 to Rs 93 per kilogram.

The government attributed the price stability to elevated crude oil costs linked to the West Asia crisis, ongoing US‑Iran tensions and the temporary closure of the Strait of Hormuz. It also extended a 90‑day order preventing industrial, commercial and institutional users from buying retail petrol and high‑speed diesel, directing them to bulk‑sale points, while keeping reduced export duties on petroleum products.
