India's Rajasthan and Kerala public service commissions issue recruitment exam updates

The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) announced that all candidates who applied online for the 2021 Sub‑Inspector recruitment will be allowed to update their applications and take a re‑exam scheduled for 20 September 2026. Applicants must complete a one‑time registration (KYC) and can make the necessary updates between 8 July and 22 July 2026.

The Kerala Public Service Commission (Kerala PSC) reversed its earlier decision on the investigation of alleged recruitment irregularities in the State Planning Board. The probe, initially assigned to the exam controller, has now been transferred to the Internal Vigilance Superintendent of Police amid internal dissent and political pressure, raising concerns over the commission’s credibility and prompting calls for a broader anti‑corruption inquiry.
