India's Renewable Energy Firms Post Strong Q1 Results and Launch New 265 MW BESS Project
Servotech Renewable Power System Ltd., a leading Indian solar, battery‑energy‑storage‑system (BESS) and EV‑charger manufacturer, reported a 66 % increase in standalone revenue to ₹20,811.19 lakh for Q1 FY 2026‑27, with EBITDA up 63 % and profit after tax rising 47 %. Managing Director Raman Bhatia said the results reflect execution strength and growing market acceptance of integrated clean‑energy solutions.
Separately, SJVN Limited issued a request for selection to develop a 265 MW/530 MWh standalone BESS in Haryana under a Viability Gap Funding scheme. The project, to be sited near the 220 kV sub‑station of the Panipat Thermal Power Station, will be built, owned, operated and maintained by the winning bidder for 12 years. Bids must cover the full capacity, with a submission deadline of 21 August 2026 and detailed fees and an Earnest Money Deposit of ₹12.72 crore.
