India's UPSC opens DAF window for 2026 Civil Services Mains

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has opened the online Detailed Application Form (DAF) window for candidates who qualified in the 2026 Civil Services Preliminary Examination. The submission period runs from June 19 to June 28, 2026, and is mandatory for the 13,343 candidates shortlisted to appear in the Main Examination.

Applicants must provide personal, educational, and service‑preference details, pay a Rs 200 fee (exempt for female, SC, ST and PwBD candidates), and submit the form through the UPSC portal. e‑Admit cards will be issued only after successful DAF submission, and failure to meet the June 28 deadline will result in disqualification from the Mains stage.
