India's UPSC Opens Recruitment for Hundreds of Central Government Posts
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has issued Advertisement No. 07/2026, inviting online applications for a major direct recruitment drive for the Government of India. The notification lists roughly 450 vacancies across a range of ministries and departments, including the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Ministry of AYUSH, Directorate General of Civil Aviation, Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, and the Archaeological Survey of India. Representative posts include Drug Inspectors, Medical/Research Officers (Siddha), Aeronautical Officers, Legal Officers, Company Prosecutors, and various specialist technical and scientific positions.
Applications must be submitted through the UPSC Online Recruitment Application portal between 27 June and 17 July 2026. Selected candidates will receive salaries under the 7th Central Pay Commission, ranging from about ₹44,900 to ₹1,42,400 per month, along with standard allowances and benefits.
