Indigenous communities prioritized in Mexican political dialogues

Political figures in Mexico are emphasizing the importance of indigenous communities in the nation's ongoing social transformation. In Michoacán, Gaby Molina conducted a series of dialogues in Comachuén and surrounding areas of the Purépecha Plateau. The discussions focused on addressing community needs, preserving indigenous languages, and maintaining cultural identity to ensure younger generations remain connected to their roots.

In Nuevo León, Andrés Mijes met with Otomí, Mixe, and Nahua families in Monterrey. Mijes advocated for public policies that respect the customs and identities of indigenous groups, noting that decisions affecting these communities should be made in collaboration with them.
