Inditex achieves record €244,493 revenue per employee

Inditex reported that its 2025 fiscal year reached a historic productivity level of €244,493 in revenue per employee, the highest in its history and almost double the figure from a decade ago. The Spanish fashion group, led by Marta Ortega, generated €39.864 billion in sales with a global workforce of 163,047 staff, allowing it to outpace rivals such as H&M (€227,856), Uniqlo (€192,744) and GAP (€167,058) per worker.

The boost stems from an integrated brick‑and‑mortar and online model, rapid product turnover and a tightly managed supply chain, giving Inditex a margin to absorb rising production and logistics costs without fully passing them on to consumers. Analysts note the efficiency could help keep retail prices stable despite broader cost pressures in the textile sector.
