Indonesia: Aid distributed to Batam fishermen and Papua residents

In Batam, Haji Aweng Kurniawan, Vice Chairman I of the Batam City Regional House of Representatives, distributed 100 ketinting engines to fishermen in the Belakangpadang District. The aid, funded through his legislative thought (pokir) budget, was distributed in Pulau Kasu and intended to support fishermen in areas including Pecung and Lengkang to improve their mobility and catch efficiency.

In Papua Pegunungan, the regional leadership of Perempuan Indonesia Raya (PIRA) provided humanitarian aid to residents in the Lanny Jaya Regency facing drought conditions. Led by Rida Ratna Kogoya, the group delivered sleeping supplies, clothing, and food to families in the Kwiawagi, Wonobarat, and Goa Balim districts to assist with basic needs during the emergency period.
