Indonesia announces 2026 selection for 4,770 government school positions

The National Civil Service Agency (BKN) has established the 2026 selection schedule for government-affiliated vocational schools (Sekolah Kedinasan). A total of 4,770 formations have been opened across nine ministries and agencies, including the Ministry of Home Affairs, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Transportation, Ministry of Law, and others such as BPS, BIN, BSSN, and BMKG.

The selection process begins with announcements from August 15–24, 2026, followed by registration from August 18–30. Key stages include administrative selection in late August, Basic Competency Selection (SKD) using the BKN Computer Assisted Test (CAT) in late September and early October, and final selection phases through October.

Additionally, the Politeknik Pengayoman Indonesia (Poltekpin), operating under the Ministry of Law, is highlighted as a key institution for the 2026 academic year. Poltekpin offers four Diploma IV programs: Intellectual Property Law, General Legal Administration, Legislative Drafting, and Law Development. Graduates of these programs will receive the Applied Bachelor of Law (S.Tr.H.) degree and are prepared for careers within the Ministry of Law.
