Indonesia's Attorney General Office Reassigns 90 Regional Prosecutors
The Attorney General's Office of Indonesia (Kejaksaan Agung) issued Decision No. KEP‑IV‑10122/C/07/2026 on 29 July 2026, rotating 90 heads of regional prosecutor offices (Kajari) across the country. The reshuffle is described as a promotion and organisational refresh aimed at improving public service and law‑enforcement effectiveness. Anang Supriatna, head of the Legal Information Center, explained the move as part of a continuous effort to enhance the justice system.
Arief Indra Kusuma Adhi was appointed the new Kajari of Jakarta Barat, replacing Nurul Wahida Rifal, who became Assistant for Civil and State Administration at the Jakarta High Prosecutor’s Office. The decision was signed by Junior Attorney General for Development Hendro Dewanto on behalf of the Attorney General.
A broader re‑organisation also saw 176 senior officials transferred, including Roy Riady, who moved to the role of Assistant Asset Recovery at the Lampung High Prosecutor’s Office, and several Jampidsus officers reassigned to new duties within the prosecutorial structure.
