Indonesia Announces 2027 Hajj Pilgrims List Early

Indonesia’s Ministry of Hajj and Umrah (Kemenhaj) officially released the list of pilgrims scheduled for the 2027 Hajj season ahead of the usual timetable. The early announcement, made on 20 July 2026, aims to give ample time for verification, preparation and coordination, ensuring a orderly and high‑quality pilgrimage.

Vice Minister of Hajj and Umrah Dahnil Anzar Simanjuntak explained that the advance release allows the ministry’s civil‑service staff to build close communication with pilgrims from the outset, improving readiness and preventing rushed arrangements. The waiting‑list candidates for the 2027 Hajj were also disclosed as part of the same release.
