IHSG Indonesia Stock Exchange stock market decline market capitalization foreign investor net sell

The Indonesia Composite Index (IHSG) declined by 1.43% during the trading week of September 7–11, 2026, closing at the 6,541.377 level. This drop follows a previous position of 6,636.475.

Market capitalization at the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) decreased by 1.32%, falling to Rp11,446 trillion from Rp11,599 trillion the previous week. Trading activity also saw a significant slowdown, with the average daily transaction value dropping 14.88% to Rp16.36 trillion. Additionally, the average daily transaction volume fell by 26.34% to 36.09 billion shares, and daily transaction frequency decreased by 7.07% to 2.22 million transactions.

Foreign investors recorded a net sell value of Rp69.19 trillion during the week. For the full year of 2026, total foreign net selling has reached Rp71.415 trillion.
