Indonesia conducts CAT for 2027 Hajj organizer candidates

Candidates for the 2027 Hajj Organizers (PPIH) are undergoing Computer Assisted Tests (CAT) as part of the selection process for the upcoming pilgrimage season. The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah is conducting these written exams in collaboration with the National Civil Service Agency (BKN).

In Jakarta, 174 candidates participated in the testing at the BKN office. Due to a high volume of applicants—totaling approximately 75,000 registrants—the Ministry has divided the CAT into two waves to ensure thorough verification. Officials noted that approximately 30,000 more candidates are expected to undergo testing in the near future.

In West Sumatra, 29 candidates successfully passed the administrative verification stage and proceeded to the CAT. Most of these participants took the exam at the BKN unit in Padang, while one candidate tested in Pekanbaru. Candidates are required to meet specific passing grades to advance to the next stages of the selection process.
