Indonesia defeats Oman 3-0, rises in FIFA rankings while Oman beats Mozambique 4-1
The Indonesia national football team (Garuda) beat Oman 3–0 on 5 June 2026 at Jakarta’s Gelora Bung Karno Stadium. Goals came from Justin Hubner, Ole Romeny and Ragnar Oratmangoen, lifting Indonesia from 122nd to 118th in the FIFA world ranking and pushing North Korea, Sierra Leone, Namibia and Togo down a spot.
Two days later Oman rebounded, defeating Mozambique 4–1 in a friendly at the Patriot Candrabhaga Stadium in Bekasi, Indonesia. The win came after Oman’s 0–3 loss to Indonesia and saw the Omani side launch a strong response against the lower‑ranked African team.
Indonesia’s next FIFA‑matchday fixture is scheduled for 9 June against Mozambique, a game that could further improve its ranking.
