Indonesia Deputy Labor Minister Afriansyah Noor Calls for Stronger Vocational and Language Training to Boost Overseas就业

Deputy Minister of Labor Afriansyah Noor said that opportunities for Indonesian workers abroad remain extensive and that vocational training programmes must place greater emphasis on foreign‑language skills. He noted that many destination countries, such as Japan, require a minimum Japanese proficiency of N4 level for placement. The ministry will continue to align training curricula with market needs and to monitor placement agencies, warning job seekers to avoid dubious recruiters. The National Vocational Training programme aims to enrol 300,000 participants this year to improve the technical and linguistic competence of Indonesian workers for both domestic and overseas employment.
