Indonesia Excellence GCG Awards 2026 Recognizes PNM and Bank UMKM Jatim
PT Permodalan Nasional Madani (PNM) received the Indonesia Excellence Good Corporate Governance (GCG) Ethics award for delivering inclusive financial services that reach over 23.3 million low‑income women across Indonesia. The award highlighted PNM’s three‑pillar empowerment model—financial capital, intellectual capacity building, and social community groups—and cited testimonials from beneficiaries about improved business management and savings habits.
Bank UMKM Jatim was also honoured at the same ceremony, winning the award for effective governance and risk‑management practices. The state‑owned bank reported assets of Rp 4 trillion and emphasized that good corporate governance underpins trust with customers and micro‑enterprise clients in East Java. It noted a recent rise and subsequent stabilization of non‑performing loans, and outlined its goal to keep the NPL ratio near 7 % by year‑end while focusing credit growth on agriculture and industry.
