Indonesia expands educational literacy and student talent mapping

Educational initiatives are being intensified across several Indonesian regions to improve student development and literacy. In East Kalimantan, the Education and Culture Office is implementing a mapping system to identify the interests and talents of high school and vocational school students. This initiative aims to tailor educational services and expertise choices to individual student needs, distinguishing between academic and vocational paths.

Simultaneously, the Pasaman Barat Regency government in West Sumatra is strengthening its literacy movement. Through seminars involving teachers, students, and families, the local government seeks to foster a culture of reading and writing that extends beyond the classroom into the home and community. The program emphasizes that literacy is essential for human resource development and regional progress.
