BMKG Forecasts Cloudy Skies and Rain Across Much of Indonesia on July 9‑10, 2026

Indonesia’s meteorological agency BMKG issued a series of forecasts for July 9‑10, 2026 covering most provinces. On July 9 the agency warned that much of the archipelago would be under cloud cover, with light to moderate rain expected in Sumatra, Banten, and parts of Kalimantan, and thunderstorms possible in the evening. Specific locales included Ambon (mostly cloudy), Kepahiang in Bengkulu (light rain), Yogyakarta (sunny with afternoon showers), Malang (intense sun turning cloudy), and West Java (mostly sunny but with light rain in Pangandaran).
