Pertamina cuts gasoline and avtur prices in August 2026

Indonesia's state-owned oil company Pertamina announced lower retail gasoline prices at its own stations and at private retailers Shell and BP for the first week of August 2026. Pertamax fell to Rp15,950 per litre (down from Rp16,250), Pertamax Turbo to Rp18,300 (down from Rp19,300) and Pertamax Green to Rp16,600 (down from Rp17,000). Diesel (solar) prices rose at private stations, with Shell’s V‑Power Diesel increasing to Rp21,910 per litre.

In parallel, Pertamina Patra Niaga reduced the domestic aviation fuel (avtur) price at Soekarno‑Hatta Airport to Rp21,102 per litre, a 1.25 % drop and the third reduction since the Iran‑US conflict. The adjustment follows the same market‑driven mechanism that aligns domestic fuel prices with global oil price movements.
