Indonesia hosts major motorcycle events in Purwokerto and Jakarta

The Indonesian motorcycle industry is seeing significant activity through major events in Purwokerto and Jakarta. In Purwokerto, Yamaha held the Gear Ultima Carnival on August 22–23, 2026, at Grendeng Field. The event drew thousands of residents and featured test rides, MSME bazaars, fun walks, and health services to promote the Gear Ultima multipurpose scooter.

Simultaneously, the fourth edition of the Indonesia Motorcycle Helmets Apparel Accessories Exhibition (IMHAX) 2026 officially opened on September 3 at the SMESCO Building in South Jakarta. Opened by Bambang Soesatyo of the Ikatan Motor Indonesia, the exhibition showcases local and international brands of helmets, apparel, and accessories. Organizers have set a transaction target of Rp7.5 billion and expect approximately 15,000 visitors over the four-day event.
