Indonesia implements Scheduled Measurement service in 462 land offices
The Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) has implemented the Scheduled Measurement service across 462 regency and city land offices throughout Indonesia. The service features a seven-day waiting period for measurement activities and a five-day process for completing Land Parcel Maps (PBT) following the measurement.
Virgo Eresta Jaya, Director General of Land Survey and Spatial Mapping, stated that the transformation aims to streamline internal workflows by reducing administrative steps. Under the new system, surveyors are also responsible for mapping, effectively shortening the operational chain. This allows applicants to select measurement times that suit their availability.
To ensure efficiency, the ministry advises the public to prepare land boundaries with fences or markers and ensure there are no legal disputes regarding the land prior to the scheduled date.
