Indonesia Infrastructure Finance secures Rp655.5 bn for sustainable infrastructure
Indonesia Infrastructure Finance (IIF) raised a total of Rp655.5 billion through the issuance of bonds worth Rp435.5 billion and perpetual securities worth Rp220 billion. The bonds were issued in one‑, three‑ and five‑year tenors with an average coupon of about 7.4% per annum, while the perpetual instruments offered an 8% return. Roughly 83% of the issuance was taken up by asset‑management firms and insurers, with the remainder coming from corporations, retail investors, pension funds and banks.
The new capital will be used to expand IIF’s financing, advisory and risk‑mitigation services for priority infrastructure projects, including connectivity, digital infrastructure and health sectors. IIF also highlighted recent international recognitions, such as the FinanceAsia Award for the biggest sustainable impact among non‑bank financial institutions and the Asian Development Bank’s award for outstanding social safeguard implementation. Shareholders include PT Sarana Multi Infrastruktur (Persero), ADB, IFC, DEG and Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation.
