Indonesia's Pertamina lifts Pertamax fuel prices amid market‑linked adjustment

PT Pertamina Patra Niaga increased the retail price of non‑subsidised fuels on 10 June 2026. Pertamax (RON 92) rose from Rp12,300 to Rp16,250 per litre and Pertamax Green 95 from Rp12,900 to Rp17,000 per litre, following the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources’ decree that ties non‑subsidised fuel prices to market mechanisms. Prices for Pertamax Turbo (RON 98), Dexlite and Pertamina Dex remained unchanged at Rp20,750, Rp23,000 and Rp24,800 per litre respectively.

Energy Minister Bahlil Lahadalia affirmed that “dibalik dinamika harga minyak global … pemerintah tetap bersepakat … tidak menaikkan BBM yang bersubsidi,” emphasizing that subsidised fuels such as Pertalite and LPG will keep their current rates. Pertamina Patra Niaga’s corporate secretary Roberth MV Dumatubun explained that Pertalite’s price is set by the government under the subsidy programme, and clarified the “angka Rp18.040 per litre … merupakan gambaran nilai ekonomi BBM” to avoid public misunderstanding.
