Indonesia cuts diesel prices while raising premium gasoline at all stations

Effective 7 June 2026, Indonesia’s fuel retailers announced new nationwide prices. Diesel sold by Pertamina, BP‑AKR and Shell saw price reductions: Pertamina Dex fell to Rp 24 800 per litre (from Rp 27 900) and Dexlite to Rp 23 000 (from Rp 26 600). Shell V‑Power Diesel was priced at Rp 24 490 per litre. Conversely, premium gasoline (RON 98, Pertamax Turbo) rose to Rp 20 750 per litre, up from Rp 19 900. Prices for Pertalite, Pertamax, Pertamax Green 95, Solar Subsidi, and other grades remained unchanged. Pertamina Patra Niaga’s corporate secretary Roberth MV Dumatubun said the adjustments reflect global energy market dynamics and the government‑mandated pricing formula, aiming to keep fuel affordable while responding to price fluctuations abroad.
