Indonesia KUR microcredit distribution reaches Rp260 trillion

Indonesia's People's Business Credit (KUR) distribution has reached approximately Rp260 trillion as of late October 2026, covering roughly 4 million MSME debtors across the country.

According to the Ministry of MSMEs and the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs, 65.9% of these funds—amounting to Rp170.9 trillion—have been directed toward productive sectors such as agriculture, fisheries, and processing industries. This figure exceeds the government's minimum target of 65% for productive sector allocation.

Of the 4 million debtors reached, 1.6 million are new borrowers, while 700,000 have successfully graduated from the program. Regional data shows the highest distribution levels in Central Java (Rp45.46 trillion), East Java (Rp41.84 trillion), and West Java (Rp27.76 trillion). The government has allocated between Rp290 trillion and Rp300 trillion for KUR this year.
