Indonesia labor and anti‑corruption groups back President Prabowo's graft crackdown

The Koalisi Besar Perjuangan Buruh Indonesia announced its support for President Prabowo Subianto’s pledge to intensify anti‑corruption efforts. Labor leaders, including Daeng Wahidin of PPMI‑KBMI and Mirah Sumirat of ASPIRASI, urged the military, police and prosecutors to maintain unity and pursue cases against corruption and oligarchy, warning that graft in industry threatens jobs and investment.

The anti‑corruption coalition KOSMAK also endorsed Prabowo’s agenda but warned that officials must be held accountable. It cited the investigation of Febrie Adriansyah, a senior coal‑sector official accused of embezzling roughly IDR 132.5 trillion over ten years and of money‑laundering, and called for a digital audit of coal management to prevent further abuse.
