Indonesia lowers non‑subsidised fuel prices at major stations

On 1 July 2026 Indonesia’s state fuel distributor Pertamina and private retailers Shell, BP‑AKR, Vivo Energy and Mobil Indostation reduced prices for non‑subsidised gasoline. Pertamax Turbo fell to 19,300 IDR per litre (down 1,450 IDR), Pertamax Dex to 21,150 IDR (down 3,650 IDR) and Dexlite to 19,700 IDR (down 3,300 IDR). Prices for Pertamax (16,250 IDR) and Pertamax Green (17,000 IDR) stayed unchanged, as did subsidised fuels such as Pertalite (10,000 IDR) and Solar (6,800 IDR). Private stations also cut diesel rates – BP‑AKR’s Ultimate Diesel and Shell’s V‑Power Diesel were set at 21,340 IDR per litre. Pertamina’s Vice‑President of Corporate Communication Kitty Andhora said the adjustments reflect “global oil market dynamics, fiscal considerations and consumer purchasing power,” and were coordinated with the government.

These coordinated price changes affect motorists nationwide, aiming to ease cost pressures while maintaining subsidised fuel levels.
