Indonesia Opens PPPK Recruitment for Sekolah Rakyat 2026 Teaching Staff

The Indonesian Ministry of Social Affairs has announced the opening of the PPPK (civil servant contract) recruitment for teachers and education personnel for the Sekolah Rakyat (People's School) program starting in 2026. Two announcements cite different total numbers of positions: one reports 3,053 vacancies across subjects such as primary‑school teachers, ICT teachers and English teachers, while another lists 5,127 slots covering roles like wardens, finance managers and administrative staff.

The selection process runs from early June to August 2026. Key dates include the announcement period (June 3‑15), online registration (June 8‑14), administrative screening (June 8‑16), and the Computer‑Assisted Test (CAT) administered by the National Civil Service Agency (BKN) from June 26 to July 5, followed by additional competency tests and final results in late July. Registration is free and conducted entirely through the official SSCASN portal, with warnings issued against fraud attempts.

Applicants must choose one of 35 CAT venues spread across Indonesia, including sites in Jakarta, Yogyakarta, Surabaya, Bandung and Makassar. Successful candidates will be assigned to Sekolah Rakyat schools to improve educational access for low‑income and vulnerable communities.
