Indonesia Police Arrest Suspects in Two Motorbike Theft Cases

In Aceh Barat Daya, police arrested a 38‑year‑old man identified as AU on suspicion of stealing a Yamaha NMAX from Hasbi, a 45‑year‑old resident of Kuala Batee. The motorcycle (license BL 5198 SC) was recovered and the suspect was taken to Polres Abdya for questioning. The loss was estimated at about Rp15 million.

In the Kangean district of Sumenep, East Java, police detained two men, AAP (21) and ME (31), after a victim, Moh. Syauqi Wahed, reported his Honda Beat Street stolen from in front of a shop in Arjasa. The suspects were caught, the motorcycle was seized, and they face charges under Indonesia’s criminal code.
