Indonesia police chief reassigns senior officers in May 2026 personnel reshuffle

On 7 May 2026, Police Chief Listyo Sigit Prabowo issued a large‑scale personnel reshuffle affecting 108 senior police officers. Four senior commissioners (Kombes) were transferred to become directors of the General Criminal Investigation Directorate (Dirreskrimum) within the regional police.

In the same round of mutations, one brigadier general (Brigjen) and two additional Kombes were moved to the Police Legal and Advocacy Division (Divkum Polri). The changes are presented as part of routine career development and organisational strengthening within the Indonesian National Police.
