Indonesia Police Cup Shooting Championship 2026 Launched in Depok
The Kapolri Cup Shooting Championship 2026 was officially opened on 25 July 2026 at the Hoegeng Iman Santoso Shooting Range in Kelapadua, Depok. General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, head of the Indonesian National Police, said the event is intended not only as a competition but also as a platform to strengthen synergy and partnership between the police and a wide range of stakeholders, including the military, ministries, parliament members, media leaders, shooting sport communities and the general public.
Participants span the Indonesian Armed Forces, police units, government agencies, legislators, athletes and civilian shooters. The four‑day championship (23‑26 July) features IPSC and non‑IPSC handgun and PCC categories, as well as precision‑shooting individual and team events specifically for police personnel. Organisers added that the tournament serves to hone weapon‑handling skills of police officers and to develop national shooting athletes for future national and international competitions.
"We deliberately invited our partners from ministries, agencies and the DPR to join, to increase synergy," Prabowo said during the opening ceremony.
