Indonesia police-sponsored sports events 2026

In July 2026 the Indonesian National Police staged a series of sport competitions under the Kapolri Cup banner. On the same day the Gubernur Cup football tournament opened in Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan, supported by the local military and provincial government, aiming to nurture young football talent and stimulate the regional economy.

On 1‑2 August 2026 the Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning entered a team in the Governor’s Cup tennis tournament in Jakarta, joining 15 other ministries, state‑owned enterprises and regional governments. The event was promoted as a means to improve communication among government bodies.
