Indonesia ramps up stunting-prevention with corporate CSR aid and police‑BKKBN partnership

Jhonlin Group's CSR initiative in Simpang Empat, Tanah Bumbu, South Kalimantan delivered supplementary food (milk and vitamin) to stunted children and pregnant women, and donated digital scales and manual blood‑pressure meters to the local health post. The program, coordinated with Puskesmas Darul Azhar and Puskesmas Simpang Empat, aims to improve nutrition and support community health services. Ali Khalid Atmanagara, Section Head of External Relations, said, “Through corporate social responsibility we strive to improve nutrition for vulnerable groups such as toddlers and pregnant women, reduce stunting, support child development, and assist local government in achieving social welfare.”

The East Java Regional Police (Polda Jatim) and the National Family Planning Agency (BKKBN) signed a cooperation agreement to accelerate stunting reduction, strengthen family resilience, and enhance human‑resource quality. In a meeting on 21 July 2026, Brigjen Pasma Royce emphasized that “synergy is the key to the success of programs that directly affect community welfare.” The partnership will mobilise about 1,300 family‑planning educators together with police officers, coordinate nutrition‑service data, and promote related family‑development programs.
