Indonesia Schedules Power Outages in Central Java and Bali for July 2026

PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN) announced temporary electricity cuts as part of network maintenance across two regions in Indonesia. In Salatiga, Central Java, PLN will suspend power from July 20 to July 23, 2026, with outages scheduled each morning between 09:00 and 12:00 local time. Specific areas include Dukuh Banding, Truko, Kalidobo, Tegalwaton, Popongan, Mendoh, Petet, Dompon, Margorejo, Gendongan, Ngaglik, and several industrial zones. Residents were urged to avoid construction near live lines and to observe safety guidelines.

Separately, on July 21, 2026, scheduled outages will affect parts of Bali, notably Gianyar and Klungkung districts. PLN cited the work as essential for enhancing supply reliability and asked customers to prepare for brief interruptions. Both notices emphasize PLN’s commitment to maintaining stable electricity service while minimizing inconvenience.
