Indonesia's Bursa Efek adds 37 stocks to high‑shareholding concentration list, total now 51
The Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) announced a revision of its High Shareholding Concentration (HSC) methodology, adding a new price‑impact‑ratio criterion for stocks with market capitalisation above Rp10 trillion. The change led to the inclusion of 37 additional companies, raising the total number of HSC‑designated stocks to 51. BEI Director General Jeffrey Hendrik said, “We will soon announce 37 new stocks entering the high‑shareholding concentration category, so the total will become 51.”
All listed stocks will be removed from the main indices such as LQ45, IDX30 and IDX80. The new list features notable conglomerate‑linked issuers, including PT DCI Indonesia Tbk (99.96% owned), PT Barito Renewables Energy Tbk, PT Dian Swastatika Sentosa Tbk, PT Sinar Mas Agro Resources and Technology Tbk, PT Global Digital Niaga Tbk, and several banks and property firms. BEI will review the HSC status quarterly, applying the price‑impact‑ratio, which measures price change relative to trading velocity, to ensure market transparency and risk awareness for investors.
