Trade Expo Indonesia 2026 export targets business matching consumer behavior brand value

Indonesia's Minister of Trade, Budi Santoso, has set a transaction target exceeding US$ 22.8 billion for the 41st Trade Expo Indonesia (TEI), scheduled to take place from October 14-18, 2026, at the Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE) BSD City.

To achieve this goal, the government plans to strengthen business matching schemes. This initiative will connect Indonesian businesses with international buyers through online sessions prior to the event, aiming to facilitate preliminary discussions that lead to formal trade contracts during the face-to-face exhibition. The Ministry of Trade intends to monitor the realization of these contracts to ensure that the recorded transactions translate into actual export growth.
