Indonesia trade and industrial exhibitions 2026

Overview

Indonesia is preparing for several major industrial and trade exhibitions in late 2026 to boost economic competitiveness and international connectivity.

In August, Trade Minister Budi Santoso announced a transaction target exceeding US$ 22.8 billion for the 41st Trade Expo Indonesia (TEI), scheduled for October 14–18. To reach this goal, the government plans to implement business matching schemes to connect local businesses with international buyers through preliminary online sessions.

Other scheduled events include the Indonesia International Paper Chain Industry Expo (IIPCIE) from August 27–29, which focuses on automation and sustainable production. This will be followed by the China (Indonesia) International E-Commerce Industry Expo (CIEIE) from September 3–5, aimed at enhancing digital trade and industrial ties with China through showcases of artificial intelligence and new energy vehicles.
