Indonesia to auction state sukuk raising Rp12 trillion on June 2

Indonesia's Ministry of Finance will conduct an auction of eight series of sovereign Sharia securities (SBSN) on Tuesday, 2 June 2026. The offering, comprising SPN‑S Treasury Bills and Project‑Based Sukuk (PBS) series such as SPNS13072026, SPNS23112026, SPNS01032027, PBS030, PBS040, PBS034, PBS005 and PBS038, aims to raise about Rp12 trillion to finance the 2026 state budget.

The PBS038 series carries the highest discount yield at 6.875 percent, while PBS040 offers the lowest at 5 percent. Investor appetite has weakened; total bids for the May 19 auction amounted to Rp18.79 trillion, down from earlier rounds that attracted up to Rp33.5 trillion. Proceeds will help cover the 2026 fiscal deficit of roughly Rp689.1 trillion and contribute to the overall debt‑financing target of Rp832.2 trillion set by the State Revenue and Expenditure Budget law.
