Indonesia to maintain subsidized fuel prices through 2026

Indonesia's Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, Bahlil Lahadalia, has confirmed that the government will not increase the price of subsidized fuel through December 31, 2026. This decision follows directives from President Prabowo Subianto aimed at maintaining national economic stability and protecting public purchasing power.

Lahadalia stated that the commitment to maintain subsidized fuel prices remains firm regardless of fluctuations in the Indonesia Crude Price (ICP). He emphasized that the government's priority is to show sensitivity to the needs of the people to ensure the economy continues to function effectively.
