Indonesia to open registration for nine government service schools in August 2026
Nine Indonesian government ministries and agencies are scheduled to open registration for official service schools on August 18, 2026. These institutions offer educational pathways for high school graduates with the potential to become Civil Servants (ASN).
The Ministry of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform announced a requirement for 4,770 civil servant candidates for 2026 through the service school track. Minister Rini Widyantini emphasized that the selection process aims to prepare competent, disciplined, and high-integrity individuals for public service.
Participating institutions include the Ministry of Home Affairs, Ministry of Transportation, Ministry of Finance, National Cyber and Crypto Agency (BSSN), Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS), Ministry of Law, Ministry of Immigration and Correctional Services, Meteorology Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG), and the State Intelligence Agency. Registration will be conducted via the National Civil Service Candidate Selection System (SSCASN) portal.
