Indonesia U19 monitors injured forward Reno Salampessy ahead of AFF semifinal

Coach Nova Arianto said the medical staff continue to monitor forward Reno Salampessy after he was forced to leave the match in the 34th minute of Indonesia's 2-1 victory over Vietnam on June 7 at Stadion Utama Sumatera Utara, Deli Serdang. Salampessy, who has scored two goals in three group‑stage matches, remains a key player for the team.

Indonesia topped Group A with nine points and secured a place in the semifinal scheduled for June 11. Arianto expressed hope that Salampessy would recover in time, stating, "Kami terus memantau, termasuk pemain lain," and "Semoga kondisinya dalam keadaan baik sehingga bisa bermain lagi di semifinal."
