Indonesia receives over 15,000 Hajj pilgrims returning from Saudi Arabia

The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah (Kemenhaj) announced that 38 flight groups, comprising 15,086 pilgrims and staff, have arrived in Indonesia during the second phase of the Hajj repatriation. This brings the total number of Indonesians flown back from Saudi Arabia to 17,445 across 44 groups.

Among the arrivals, the first group from Riau Province (Kloter BTH 03) landed safely at Hang Nadim Airport in Batam. The 443‑person contingent, which included two pilgrims from West Kalimantan, completed the journey after a slight schedule adjustment by Saudi Airlines, arriving at 16:53 WIB.

Kemenhaj reminded returning pilgrims to safeguard their passports to avoid administrative delays in the ongoing repatriation process.
