Indonesia wins overall title at Para-meter Archery Indonesia Open 2026

The Indonesian para-archery team emerged as the overall champions of the Para-meter Archery Indonesia Open 2026, held at the Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) field in Surakarta on August 7-8. The team secured two gold medals and one silver medal during the competition.

Ken Swagumilang led the achievements by winning two gold medals. He claimed the individual title by defeating Dimas Maulana of Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta with a score of 142-138. Swagumilang also won the mixed team category alongside Teodora Audi Ayudia Ferelly, defeating the pair of Dimas Maulana and Qanita Syauqina with a score of 152-147.

A silver medal was earned by the mixed team recurve pair Kholidin and Noviera Ross, who finished behind Daffa Indika Haidar and Vinethea Natyasha.

Organized by the National Paralympic Committee of Indonesia (NPC Indonesia), the tournament featured 65 participants, including 40 non-disabled athletes. Coach Idya Putra Harjianto stated the event was designed to test the competitive mentality of athletes projected for the 2026 Asian Para Games and to earn points for qualification for the Los Angeles 2028 Paralympics.
